Avoiding Chronic Pain After Auto Accident

Lenexa Chiropractic Therapy Treats Chronic Pain After Car Accidents

Approximately 2.3 million people are injured each year in auto accidents in the U.S. While a lot of people are able to recover from their injuries fairly easily, many are left to deal with chronic problems and disability. We see several of these men and women here in our Lenexa office. Fortunately, Dr. Isom is here to help you recover from your auto injury.

Research Supports Chiropractic Care Helps Prevent Chronic Issues After an Auto Injury

The science confirms what we see in our office: A British study was conducted on 28 individuals diagnosed with chronic whiplash pain. Each participant received chiropractic treatment and 93 percent of them found relief following their adjustments, even though 43% of whiplash sufferers overall usually never find relief. This confirms that chiropractic adjustments is a great way to avoid long-term discomfort after a car crash.

It's important to note that studies have also found that putting off treatment after a car crash can adversely affect recovery time, so getting in to see Dr. Isom as soon as possible is key to having a faster recovery.
